Billy Gillispie's Red Raider 12 Days of Christmas Celebrates Giving
The Billy Gillispie's Red Raider 12 Days of Christmas begins Dec. 10 and runs through Dec. 21. Dec. 8, 2011 LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head coach Billy Gillispie and the Red Raider basketball team will spend the holiday season giving back to the local community. For 12 straight days, the Red Raiders will visit area hospitals, work with local charities and provide a helping hand during the holiday season as a part of Billy Gillispie's Red Raider 12 Days of Christmas. "The holiday season is a season of giving," said Gillispie. "Our team and our coaching staff definitely have the holiday spirit. We look forward to doing our part to making the season as joyous as possible for others. We are very excited about these 12 special days and hope to make this an exciting yearly tradition. We want to be known as a program that excels on the court, in the classroom and in the community." The Billy Gillispie's Red Raider 12 Days of Christmas begins Dec. 10 and runs through Dec. 21. The team will kickoff the season of sharing on Saturday by visiting the Lubbock Heart Hospital.
