Lubbock, TX -- The Texas Tech Red Raiders (9-4) host the Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin (7-3) from Nacogdoches, Texas at 3 PM in the United Spirit Arena on New Year's Day.

The game will be televised by the Texas Tech Television Network. In Lubbock, the game can be seen on KLBK-TV (CBS) with The Pat Knight Pre-Game Show beginning at 2:30 PM.

Dave Shore will call the play-by-play. Former Red Raider standout, Andy Ellis will provide the game analysis on the Texas Tech Television Network.

The Fox Sports Network (FSN) will provide statewide coverage via satellite in all markets except Lubbock.

The satellite coordinates for the game are AMC 15, Transponder K 4.

ESPN is also scheduled to air the game as a part of their Full-Court package. The game will be featured online via ESPN360.com -- ESPN's signature broadband sports TV network.

Mark Finkner will call Thursday's courtside action against the Lumberjacks along with analyst Corky Oglesby on the Texas Tech Sports Network local station KKAM-AM 1340.

The Red Raiders and the Lumberjacks are meeting for the ninth time since the series began on December 28, 1937. Each team has won four games.

After their loss at Stanford on December 28, the Red Raiders have nine wins and four losses for the season. Four Red Raiders are averaging double figures for the season. John Roberson leads the Raiders with 15.5 points per game. Alan Voskuil is scoring 14.1 points per game. Mike Singletary is averaging 10.8 points per game. Nick Okorie is averaging 10.7 points per game.

Stephen F. Austin is 7-3 on the season and is back on the court for the first time since their loss at Arkansas on December 20, 67-51. They have three players averaging in double figures for the season. Josh Alexander leads his team in scoring with 17.5 points per game. Matt Kingsley follows with 15.0 points per game. Eddie Williams is averaging 10.2 points per game.



The Red Raiders are back in action at the United Spirit Arena against TCU on Tuesday, January 6. The visit by the Horned Frogs is the final non-conference game of the season and will begin at 7:00 PM. The Texas Tech Television Network will deliver coverage of the game.
