1996: Squadman who did not see game action during the season ... walked on in spring and led all rushers in the Red-Black spring game.

High School: Benavides High School ... an all-district selection at running back ... rushed for 1,980 yards as a senior with a season-game high of 275 yards ... carried the ball 33 times for 500 yards as a junior ... regional qualifier in the 100 and 200-meters ... active in the Future Farmers of America ...
