Jeff Jones enters his fifth season as the manager of the football training facility. He handles a variety of duties in the football complex, including the oversight of the work on the football training facility and the practice fields. He is responsible for making repairs and ordering supplies to keep the building running. Jones also helps with communications for the coaches on game day.

Jones started in 1996 as a student manager for the football program and later began working with the baseball team. He became an assistant after receiving a degree in exercise and sport science at Texas Tech in 2003.

He is a graduate of New Deal High School and lives in Lubbock.
