Career: A very talented offensive lineman that emerged last season as one of the best in the Big 12 Conference ... always makes the highlight reels on crucial running situations in throwing the key block ... is physical enough to play at the next level ... will enter the season as a strong candidate for All-America honors as a senior ... preseason all-Big 12 selection by Football Action Magazine.

1998-99: Started nine games ... first-team all-big 12 by the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram … second-team all-Big 12 selection by league coaches, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and Associated Press … missed two games with a knee injury.

1997-98: Played in 10 games as a backup offensive tackle ... also played on the line on special teams ... earned a starting position during spring drills.

1996-97: Missed the season after suffering severe burns in a grease fire just prior to the beginning of the season.
