Career: Enters the fall as the starter at cornerback ... a good cover guy in a man-to-man defensive scheme ... one of the fastest players on the team ... has played on both sides of the ball during his career and has payed a lot of dues.

1998-99: Saw significant action in all 11 games of the regular season as a primary defensive back ... finished season with 23 total tackles (19 solo) with one interception and six pass break-ups ... intercepted pass vs. Texas-El Paso ... broke-up four passes in Iowa State game ... made career-high six tackles (six solo) at Colorado ... finished with at least one tackle in each of Tech's 11 games ... selected the winner of the J T King Award for the spring's most improved player.

1997-98: Saw action in four games during the season ... carried the ball a season-high four times in the season-opener at Tennessee ... recorded three carries for season-high 36 yards against Southwestern La. ... returned two kickoffs for 31 yards against Kansas State with a long of 16 yards ... caught one pass for nine yards on the season, at Tennessee ... moved from tailback to cornerback during spring drills.

1996-97: Redshirt season.

1995-96: Missed the 1995 season after signing with Tech due to questions regarding his eligibility ... attended Tech as a regular student and worked on academics and strength and conditioning.

High School: A 1995 graduate of West Brook High School ... a state top 100 selection by the Houston Post ... rushed for 1,347 yards and 17 TDs with a long run of 80 yards ... averaged 8.7 yards per carry ... averaged 27.4 yards on kickoff returns as a senior ... an all-district 22-5A selection ... named all-Super Gold by the Beaumont Enterprise ... started at cornerback as a junior ... helped team to 11-2 record and class 5A division I state quarterfinals ... ran third leg on state champion 1,600-meter relay as a sophomore ... unit set state record ... leading scorer on basketball team ... coached by Jerry Henstchel.
