Career: One of three junior college offensive line signees in 1997 ... settled on perhaps his best position at center during the spring ... will add depth and experience to the middle of the offensive line.

1998-99: Redshirt season ... moved to center during the spring.

1997-98: Played in 10 games as a backup offensive guard and on special teams ... saw action on the kick return team ... enrolled at Texas Tech for the spring 1996 semester and participated in spring practice.

Junior College: A 1997 graduate of L.A. Valley JC ... a first-team all-Western States selection at offensive tackle ... helped team to 20-2 record over two seasons ... received the LA Valley JC Monarch Award given for academics, athletics and citizenship ... weight lift total, combining bench press, clean lift and squad, is 1,140 pounds ... coached in junior college by Jim Fenwick.
