Solid possession receiver with great hands and balance in the open field ... will back up Danny Amendola at Y receiver, but will see plenty of action in various roles.

2006 - One of eight receivers with at least 20 receptions ... caught 23 passes for 264 yards ... had three receptions for 34 yards in the Insight Bowl win over Minnesota ... grabbed a 16-yard reception in the regular-season finale against Oklahoma State ... two catches for 31 yards in the Baylor win ... started at inside receiver at Colorado and tied for the team lead with his career-high seven catches for 56 yards ... started his first collegiate game at wide receiver against SLU and saw first significant playing time of the season ... opened the game with a 56-yard catch and run, breaking several tackles for the offense's longest completion of the season ... tied Eric Morris for the team-lead with four catches, finishing with 93 yards ... caught a pass for 12 yards in each against SMU and UTEP.

2005 - Transferred to Texas Tech from Purdue and sat out per NCAA transfer rules.

At Purdue - Moved from quarterback to safety during spring season ... Academic All-Big Ten ... appeared in 11 games as reserve, primarily as nickel back ... had 11 tackles (5 solo, 6 assists) ... recorded season-high three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) vs. Ball State on Sept. 11 ... had two tackles (both assists) vs. Indiana on Nov. 20 ... sat as a redshirt during freshman season.

High School - First team all-district as senior after completing 56-of-116 passes (48.3 percent) for 988 yards and rushing for 710 yards ... second team all-district his junior year ... completed 106-of-222 career passes (47.7 percent) for 1,620 yards and 14 touchdowns ... rushed for 1,195 yards and 17 touchdowns ... second team academic all-state as senior ... three-time academic all-district honoree ... coach was George Herrmann ... also participated in track and field ... member of National Honor Society.
