Finished the season on several All-Big 12 teams and was the league's top all-purpose back ... totaled 926 yards on the ground, the most since former All-American Ricky Williams in 1998 (1,582) ... also averaged 6.1 yards per carry, the most since former Doak Walker Award winner Byron Hanspard did the same in 1996 ... versatile back that stepped in and filled Taurean Henderson's shoes with a great degree of success ... led all Division I running backs with 75 receptions ... scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime against Minnesota in the Insight Bowl ... one of three scores on the night for Woods ... rushed 19 times for 109 yards, his third 100-yard game of the season ... also caught three passes for 19 yards ... had 15 carries for 84 yards and his seventh rushing touchdown of the season in the win over Oklahoma State ... tied his career-long with a 51-yard carry to the OSU five-yard line that setup a field goal to put Tech ahead 30-24 ... carried eight times for 40 yards, caught five passes for 34 yards and returned two kickoffs for 32 yards at Oklahoma, averaging just over seven yards per touch against the Sooners ... picked up a career-high 125 rushing yards against Baylor on just 10 carries in Tech's 55-21 defeat of the Bears ... also scored a career-high three touchdowns during the game ... took his career-long 51-yard carry to the one yard-line in third quarter and scored on the following play ... also tied for the team lead with eight catches for 48 yards, giving him a career-high 173 yards from scrimmage ... hauled in five passes for 51 yards and put Tech ahead of Texas with the game's first touchdown, an 18-yard catch and run on the game's opening drive ... rushed 15 times for 93 yards and caught six passes for 76 yards at Iowa State ... carried the ball 10 times for 38 yards and tied for the team lead with seven catches for a team-high 78 yards at Colorado ... had the game's long play, a 54-yard catch and run that set up Tech's lone touchdown in the fourth quarter ... against Missouri, had his best rushing game since the season opener, picking up 95 yards on 12 carries, a 7.9 yard average ... did not have a rush for negative yardage ... also tied receiver Joel Filani for the team lead with his career-high 11 catches for 71 yards ... carried the ball 10 times for 35 yards and finished second on the team with seven catches for 70 yards at Texas A&M ... four of his seven receptions resulted in first downs for the Red Raider offense ... rushed eight times for 57 yards and scored a career-high two touchdowns in Tech's win over Southeastern Louisiana ... led the team in rushing with 52 yards on 10 carries at TCU ... also had five catches for 38 yards and made the game's long reception when he took a swing pass 33 yards ... picked up 86 yards on 12 carries at UTEP in his second career start ... scored his first touchdown of 2006 (fifth of his career) on a nine-yard run that gave Tech a 34-27 advantage with 7:10 remaining in the fourth quarter ... carried the ball 15 times, gaining 104 yards in his first career start versus SMU ... eclipsed the 100-yard plateau for the first time in his career with a four-yard scamper late in the fourth quarter ... averaged 6.9 yards per rush and was also Tech's second leading receiver, hauling in six passes for 32 yards.
