COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Ja'Mar Toombs scored two touchdowns in the final 6:58 and Texas A&M had three interceptions and a blocked punt that led to 20 points as the Aggies beat Texas Tech 33-15 on Saturday.

The Red Raiders (4-1, 0-1 Big 12) came into the game ranked No. 11 nationally in passing but the Aggies (3-1, 1-0) defense had interceptions by Michael Jameson, Terrence Kiel and Sammy Davis and a blocked punt by Jay Brooks.

A&M extended its winning streak at Kyle Field to 22 games since a loss to the Red Raiders in 1996. Tech upset A&M 21-19 last season when the Aggies went into Lubbock ranked No. 6 in the nation.

The crowd of 83,644 was the second largest ever at Kyle Field.

With the Aggies leading 19-15, Toombs scored on a 3-yard run with 6:58 to play. After Davis intercepted a pass by Tech's Kliff Kingsbury on the Raiders' next series, Toombs scored again on a 1-yarder with 5:42 to play to end Tech's comeback hopes.

The Aggies, beaten by the Red Raiders in four of their last five games, took a 16-7 halftime lead with the help big plays by Brooks and Jameson.

Joe Weber capped A&M's first drive of the game with a 14-yard touchdown run and the Aggies also scored on a 32-yard field goal by Terence Kitchens and a 2-yard run by Richard Whitaker with 4:19 left in the half.

Whitaker's touchdown came on the first play after Brooks blocked a punt by Chris Birkholz. Tech's Dorian Pitts blocked Kitchens' extra-point attempt after Whitaker's score.

Kitchen's field goal came after A&M safety Jameson intercepted a pass on a fake field goal try and returned it 76 yards to the Red Raiders' 8.

Strong safety Terrence Kiel got another big play for the Aggies secondary with an interception at the A&M 13 that led to a 40-yard field goal by Kitchens with 1:18 left in the third quarter.

Texas Tech completed four straight third-down plays, the last one going 15 yards for a touchdown from Kingsbury to Tim Baker on the first play of the second quarter.

With Tech trailing 19-7, Kingsbury completed 6 of 8 passes in a drive that ended with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Baker with 13:41 left to play. Kingsbury completed a 2-point conversion pass to Cole Roberts.
