GETTING STARTED
• Weather conditions at kickoff: Sunny Skies; 50 degrees; Winds from the ENE at 9 mph.
• Today's game was televised on ABC with a reverse national mirror on ESPN2.
• Today's game marked the 20th all-time meeting between Texas Tech and Oklahoma.
• Today's game marked the 966th all-time game in Texas Tech history.
• Texas Tech won the opening coin toss and elected to defer. It marked Tech's first win in a coin toss this season as the Red Raiders are now 1-4.
• Texas Tech wore black jerseys, black pants and black helmets today against Oklahoma. The last time Tech wore this uniform combination was in last year's game against Texas A&M.

EYE ON DOEGE
• Moved into seventh place on the school's career pass attempts list. With 829 career attempts, he moves past BJ Symons (2000-03).
• Moved into fourth place in career completions (566), surpassing Robert Hall (1990-93) and BJ Symons (2000-03).

NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
• Sophomore running back Kenny Williams scored Tech's first points of the game on a seven-yard touchdown run and that tied the score at 7-7. The touch¬down was his second of the season and the fourth of his career.
• Sophomore placekicker Ryan Bustin gave Texas Tech a 10-7 lead with 14:22 remaining in the first half when he connected on a 35-yard field goal. The field goal was his seventh of the year (7-for-9) and he is now 5-of-6 from 30-35 yards out. He added his second field goal of the game with 6:58 remaining in the first half to pull Tech to within one at 14-13. Bustin's field goal covered 43 yards and made him 1-2 on the season from 40-45 yards out.

TEAM NOTES
• With Kenny Williams' seven-yard touchdown in the first quarter extended Texas Tech's school record consecutive game scoring streak to 186 games.
• Texas Tech scored on its first possession of the game for just the second time this season (Tech scored on first two possessions against New Mexico).
• Texas Tech has had at least 10 receivers catch at least one pass in all five games of the season.
