NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
Junior quarterback Seth Doege put the Red Raiders on the scoreboard for the fi rst time at the
8:33 mark of the second quarter when he scored on an 8-yard touchdown run. The TD rush was his
third of the season and helped cut the Iowa State defi cit to 21-7.
Senior Jared Flannel picked up his fi rst career sack midway through the third quarter.
Tonight's game marked the fi fth consecutive home game that Texas Tech has not held a lead
after the fi rst quarter.
With two turnovers in the fi rst quarter, Texas Tech committed a total of fi ve turnovers in consecutive
