• Sophomore receiver Alex Torres returned to action today after missing last week's game against Missouri after having his right knee scoped. He caught two passes in today's game to go over the 100 career receptions mark and is one of five receivers on the team with 100-plus receptions. Torres achieved the 100 career reception mark in his 21st career game and is the fastest Tech receiver since Michael Crabtree (needed only seven games) to reach 100 career receptions.
Detron Lewis threw the first touchdown pass of the game for the Red Raiders, out of the Wildcat formation, to sophomore Darrin Moore that tied the game at 7--7. The touchdown recpetion was the first of the season for Moore and was the first career TD pass for Lewis.
• Oklahoma's 24 first quarter points were the most allowed by the Texas Tech defense this season.
• Freshman defensive end Dartwan Bush registered his first career sack in the second quarter.
• Senior quarterback Taylor Potts moved into fourth place on the school's career passing list as he threw for 136 yards in today's game against Oklahoma.
• Senior running back Baron Batch rattled off a 37-yard run on Tech's first possesion of the third quarter and that matched his longest rush of the season.
