LUBBOCK, Texas - Senior quarterback Taylor Potts and senior linebacker Brian Duncan have agreed to play in the Texas vs. the Nation game held in the Alamodome in San Antonio on Feb. 5.

Potts, a native of Abilene, Texas, was named the MVP of both the Alamo Bowl in 2010 and the TicketCity Bowl in 2011. He finished his career at Tech tied for third in passing and tied for fourth in passing touchdowns in the nation.

Duncan finished tied for eighth in the Big 12 in both sacks and tackles for a loss. He will represent Team Nation as a native of Baton Rouge, La.

The NFL Players Association game, in its fifth year, has seen over 400 players go on to sign NFL contracts. The five-year-old all-star game is making its debut in San Antonio this year after four previous games in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Tx. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. (CT).
