Tech Announces Spring Game Details

LUBBOCK, Texas - The first spring of the Tommy Tuberville era will come to a close with the annual Spring Game on April 17 at Jones AT&T Stadium. The game will provide Red Raider Football fans the first glimpse of the Tech offense and defense in a game situation.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT and admission to the game is $5. Tech students and children 12 and under are free. All seating is general admission and available on the west side and in both end zones. The east side will be closed. Current west side club and suite ticket holders and 2010 east side club and suite holders can access the west stadium building for $20. All revenue generates supports the Red Raider Scholarship Fund, the exclusive scholarship fund of Texas Tech Athletics.
To avoid long lines on game day, fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance at www.texastech.com or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (806) 742-4412. Tickets will be sold at gate 1 and 3 on game day. Stadium gates 1, 2 and 3 will open at noon for admittance. Parking for the game is first-come, first-serve and tailgating is permitted.
A postgame autograph session featuring the Red Raiders and Coach Tuberville is scheduled. Red Raider players will be available for autographs for an hour after the game. Fans are invited to bring an item from home for the players and Coach Tuberville to sign, but will be limited to one item only. Tech athletics will make available free autograph posters, roster cards and schedule cards.
Following the spring game, fans are encouraged to catch the baseball team in action at Dan Law Field, where the Red Raiders will face Oklahoma at 5 p.m. Fans showing their spring game ticket at Dan Law can purchase two baseball tickets for the price of one. It's also Double T Day and kids 12 and under will receive free admission.
This year's Spring Game will be televised locally on FOX34 and broadcast on Double T 104.3. Updated information pertaining to the spring game can be found at www.texastech.com as it becomes available.
