"Meet The Two-Deep" is an exclusive daily feature at texastech.com designed to allow Red Raider Nation to connect with this year's football team. The players in this feature made the official "two-deep" following spring practices, which means they will be competing for a starting spot when Texas Tech opens the 2011 football season at home against Texas State on Sept. 3. Check-in each morning at 10 a.m. (CT) on texastech.com and get to know a different member of your Red Raider football team.

What goes through your mind when running onto the field with the team on a gameday?
"On game day, I just think about my opponent and putting fear in my opponent, I think about winning the game, I think about working hard enough so my team can depend on me on game day."

What is your favorite thing about being a Red Raider?
"I love the town, I love the people in this town, I love how we can all come together and support each other during football season."

Is there a motto or phrase you live by?
"Actions speak louder than words."

What is your personal goal for this season?
"For our team to get into that BCS Championship."

Do you have any hidden talents?
"I can play the drums."

Who are some of the major influences in your life, both on and off the field?
"My mother and my father has influenced me a bunch and my sister, they are the most greatest support system I could have."

What has been the biggest difference for you personally from your first year at Tech to where you are now in your career?
"You know the first year is always a learning year, you know, you tend to make a lot of mistakes and tend to do things straight from high school that you wouldn't do, maturity has been a difference from my first year until now."
