Texas Tech fans coming to Jones AT&T Stadium for the 2012 football season will notice some new elements designed to enhance the gameday experience.

What's New In 2012?

Scoring just got a little more exciting for the Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium. Every time Texas Tech scores a touchdown or a field goal, the West Texas sky will light up with pyrotechnics that will be deployed from the roof of the athletics ticket office in the north end of the stadium. Six shells will follow every Red Raider touchdown, while three shells will follow a field goal.

Goin' Band From Raiderland
The Goin' Band From Raiderland will have a new home inside the stadium as the band will move from its seating area on the east side to the center section of the south end zone. The move will allow the entire stadium to hear the GIANT sound of one of the nation's largest and most respected marching bands. New signage overhead helps give the band a permanent identity in the stadium, while a new equipment staging area nearby will help make the band more efficient on gameday.

Guest Services
Texas Tech is taking its customer service outreach to a more visible level with the addition of Guest Services locations outside the stadium. Fans who have gameday related issues or questions can visit Guest Services at the ticket booths located at Gates 1 and 3. If you are inside the stadium, a Guest Services booth will be located near the flag poles in the north end zone. Fans can also seek out an usher for assistance while inside the stadium.

Points of Pride
Beginning with the Sept. 15 game against New Mexico, Texas Tech fans will notice a new addition to the façade of the east side of the stadium facing the playing field. Points of Pride (bowl appearances, All-Americans, conference championships etc.) will be permanently displayed to showcase the tremendous history of Red Raider Football.

Ring of Honor
Texas Tech will honor the legends of Texas Tech Football with induction into the newly created Texas Tech Football Ring of Honor. The names of Donny Anderson, E.J. Holub and Dave Parks have been permanently placed on the west side of the stadium. The official induction ceremony will take place prior to the season opener against Northwestern State.

Theme Games
Each game this season will carry a different theme as well as numerous promotions. For a complete list of game promotions, visit www.texastech.com/promotions.

Starting this season, fans who wish to purchase tickets, in person, can do so at the main ticket office in the north end of the stadium or at Gates 1 and 3. All ticket booths will open four hours prior to kickoff. Fans who requested that their tickets be placed in Will Call now have the option of picking up those tickets at those same locations (main ticket office, Gate 1 and Gate 3).
