LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech Department of Athletics will pay tribute to those working with the disaster relief teams in New York and Washington, D.C., by recognizing local entities of public service and law enforcement.

Lubbock Firefighters, Police Officers, K-9 Units, Emergency Medical Services and members of the American Red Cross are invited to this weekend's football game between Texas Tech and Kansas. Two tickets will be issued to each person wearing his or her uniform representing these organizations. Tickets will be handed out at Gate 2 at the Northwest corner of Jones SBC Stadium.

Additionally, the university also will recognize local reservists who are currently on standby and preparing for possible defense.

Activities for the game include a patriotic show by the The Goin' Band from Raiderland and a postgame fireworks show.
