LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech strong safety Daniel Charbonnet (The Woodlands, Texas) and quarterback Graham Harrell (Ennis, Texas) were named the Big 12 Conference Defensive and Offensive players of the week Monday, following their performances against Texas over the weekend.

The pair picks up the honors a week after Harrell and place kicker Matt Williams earned offensive and special teams accolades following the win over Kansas.

Charbonnet, who also earned Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week honors, gave the Red Raiders a 29-13 lead in the third quarter after intercepting a Colt McCoy pass and returning it 18 yards for a touchdown. The interception was the fifth of the year for Charbonnet, which ties him with teammate Darcel McBath for the team lead.

Harrell completed 36-of-53 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns in the 39-33 win over the Longhorns, including the game-winning 28-yard scoring strike to Michael Crabtree. Harrell leads the nation in passing yards (402.5) and is the NCAA's active career leader in touchdown passes (119) and touchdowns responsible for (131).

The second-ranked Red Raiders host No. 8 Oklahoma State on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Jones AT&T Stadium. The game will be televised on ABC.
