2012-13: PING All-Region, All-Big 12, Big 12 Scholar Athlete of the Year, First-Team Academic All-Big 12 ... played in all 43 rounds and 15 tournaments of the 2012-13 season and led the team with a 72.5 stroke average ... over the course of the season Ewing logged seven Top 10 finishes, six Top 5 finishes and his first career tournament win ... set a new school record for the lowest round as he fired a 61 in the second round of the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate on Oct. 29 ... that topped Will Griffin's previous record of 62 set back in 2006 at the Jerry Pate National ... overall Ewing totaled 10 rounds with scores under 70 ... the highlight of the season came in Austin in mid April as he defeated the defending national champion Texas Longhorns on their home course by claiming medalist honors at the Morris Williams Invitational ... Ewing fired a 7-under, 206 to claim the tournament win ... earned a second place finish at the Wolf Run Invitational in mid September after logging a 4-under, 209 scorecard ... his school record round of 61 in the second round of the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate propelled him to a third place finish overall at 6-under, 207 ... had a strong showing in late February and early March as he notched back-to-back-to-back Top 5 finishes at The Prestige at PGA West, the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate and the Lampkin Grips San Diego Classic ... finished 18th at the NCAA Columbus Regional that helped guide the Red Raiders to the NCAA Championships in Atlanta.
SPRING 2012: Finished the 2011-12 season with a 73.8 stroke average ... was the only upper classman in Texas Tech's run to the NCAA Greensboro Regional ... Tech's most consistent player as he gained a spot in all 13 tournaments of the season ... finished in fourth place at the UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational to help Tech secure its fourth consecutive UTSA/Oak Hills title ... finished 17th at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin ... just missed all-tournament honors at the Big 12 Championships as he finished 11th at 8-over par.
FALL 2011: Played in all four tournaments of the fall...notched a seventh place standing at The Caramel Cup at Pebble Beach ... finished tied for eighth place in the Adams Cup of Newport with an even-par 215... paced the Red Raiders finishing the Jack Nicklaus Invitational tied for 22nd... closed out the season at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational tied for 30th place... averaged 74.2 strokes per round.
SPRING 2011: Played in three tournaments in the spring including the NCAA Southwest-Arizona Region ... his best outing of the spring was at the Aggie Invitational where he finished 40th out of 72 golfers at 14-over ... earned a spot on the regional team and ended the tournament 48th overall at 6-over ... compiled a 76.4 stroke average for the year (fall and spring) in 14 rounds (five tournaments).
FALL 2010: Saw action in the final two tournaments of the fall season ... turned in his best performance of the short season with 1-over 73 in the middle round of the prestigious Isleworth Collegiate Invitational which saw him open the round with a birdie followed by a string of 12 consecutive par holes ... rounded out the fall with a 76.6 average per round.
SPRING 2010: Saved his best performance of the spring for the NCAA South Central Regional where he shot a 5-under 211 to tie for fifth place ... matched teammates Chris Ward and Nils Floren in a five-way tie for fifth ... was the first time he finished under-par in his Tech career ... his 211 card matched the 54-hole low for a Tech player at an NCAA Regional ... began the tournament with a 3-under 69 ... followed with consecutive 1-under 71 rounds ... best finish previously was a tie for 11th at the UTSA Invitational ... remained in Tech's lineup for the NCAA Championships ... shot a 6-over 78 each round to finish 18-over for the tournament ... fell to Florida State's Michael Hebert, 2 and 1, in the opening round of match play ... also competed in the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters, National Invitational Tournament, Morris Williams Intercollegiate, and The Aggie Invitational ... did not place in the top 30 in any of those tournaments ... stroke average of 74.8 is sixth on the team.
FALL 2009: Played in second collegiate tournament with the Red Raiders at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational ... opened with a solid 72 and followed with rounds of 77 and 79 ... finished tied in 33rd place and among some of the nation's top golfers ... started his Red Raider career off strong ... following a win as an unattached player at the Lubbock Christian University tournament in September, was placed in the lineup for the Gary Koch Intercollegiate ... fired an opening round 68 and finished the 54-hole event in a 39th-place tie ... is averaging 74.3 strokes on the season.
