Red Raiders Tied For Fifth After First Round In Palm Springs
Ewing IV tied for fifth at the Prestige at PGA West.

Senior Finley Ewing IV fired a 2-under par while sophomore Matias Domingo was 1-under in the first round to help lead Texas Tech to a tie for fifth place after round one of the 13th Annual Prestige at PGA West.
The Red Raiders will enter Tuesday's second round just five strokes back of tournament leader TCU and tied with league foe Oklahoma State and UCLA. The Horned Frogs are 6-under par and are followed by USC at 5-under, Washington at 4-under and Fresno State at 3-under.
Ewing had a strong first round and is currently tied for sixth in the individual standings (2-under, 69) with six other golfers. Dominguez, who is making his first tournament appearance of the spring, finds himself in a cluster of 10 golfers all tied for 10th place at 1-under, 70.
The second round of the Prestige at PGA West gets underway on Tuesday morning at the Greg Norman Course in Palm Springs, Calif.
