Round Two Results

Texas Tech will need a strong final round to overcome TCU's 11-stroke lead as the Red Raiders enter Sunday's final round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in second place at even par, 576.

Sophomore Clement Sordet found himself in a tie for first place after yesterday's first round but it was senior Finley Ewing IV who took over the leaderboard in round two. Ewing was 3-under par today (69) and is tied with TCU's Julien Brun while Sordet fell to a tie for ninth after logging a 3-over, 75 in round two.

A strong finish by Ewing in Sunday's round will give him back-to-back top finishes in two tournaments this week in Palm Springs.

The Horned Frogs have four players in the top five on the individual leaderboard so Texas Tech's attack on Sunday will need to be strong to overtake the lead.
