Logan McCracken is tied for 11th place after shooting 72 in the opening round

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's golf team finished the first round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational, held in Windermere, Fla., in 11th place with a 301.

Logan McCracken led the way with an even-par 72 putting him in a tie for 11th place. Junior Finley Ewing IV finished in a tie for 36th place with a three-over 75 while freshman Henry Todd shot 76, putting him four over for the tournament. Chandler Rusk and Drew Dorsey shot 78 and 83, respectively.

Texas leads the prestigious tournament with a 10-under 278. North Florida sits in second at one under while Stanford rounds out the top three with a three-over 291.

The second round of action will get underway with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
