The Texas Tech Men's Golf team will tee off the spring portion of its schedule on Thursday at the 24th Annual Amer Ari at Waikoloa Beach Resort in Kona, Hawaii.
The Red Raiders begin their spring schedule with the goal of securing the program's 13th consecutive trip to the NCAA Regionals and back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championships.
The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 7:30 am on Thursday with rounds two and three set for Friday and Saturday. The Waikoloa Kings' Course is a par 72 that covers 7,074 yards with a slope of 135 and a rating of 73.4. The Kings' Course is a strategic, Scottish links-style layout with multiple tee placements, numerous lakes, lava outcroppings and pot bunkers add complexity and drama to the golf experience.
The Red Raiders will face off against Arizona State, Oregon State, No. 3 Oklahoma State, No. 2 Georgia Tech, CSU-Monterey Bay, TCU, No. 50 UC Davis, USC, No. 19 Texas, Colorado, Hawaii-Hilo (Host), Hawaii-Manoa, San Jose State, No. 9 Sanford, Oregon, No. 13 Washington, No. 26 Auburn, No. 17 UCLA and Osaka Gakuin University from Japan.
