LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's golf team entered this week with a No. 4 ranking among Big 12 schools in the latest Golfstat.com poll. The Red Raiders also are ranked 43rd overall.

Tech's ranking among league teams is the highest in the history of the program at any point in a season, and follows only Texas, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. Baylor is listed fifth.

Also according to Golfstat.com, the Red Raiders rank fifth nationally with 75.5 percent of fairways hit this season and boast a 240-43 record against Division I opponents.

Texas Tech next competes in the Louisiana Classic in Lafayette, La., March 10-11.
