The Texas Tech men's golf regular season is quickly coming to a close as the Red Raiders have just two remaining tournaments before the Big 12 Conference Championships gets underway April 25-27.
The Red Raiders tee off on Sunday morning in the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate, being hosted by William & Mary University in Williamsburg, Va. The three-day tournament is being staged at the River Course at Kingsmill, host of numerous PGA and LPGA tour events over the last 40 years.
The tournament field includes Appalachian State, Binghamton, Boston College, Bucknell, Dayton, Delaware, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Fairleigh Dickinson, George Mason, Georgetown, IPFW, James Madison, Longwood, Loyola (Ill.), Loyola (Md.), Miami (Ohio), Penn State, Radford, Rutgers, St. Joseph's, Temple, Texas Tech, Towson, UNC Greensboro, William & Mary and Wright State.
Texas Tech enters the tournament fresh off a second place finish at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular. Junior Esteban Restrepo led the Red Raiders in that tournament with a fifth place finish at 3-over, 219. Restrepo enters this week as the team leader in stroke average.
The River Course at Kingsmill will play to par-70 with yardage total of 6,765. Live scoring can be found at golfstat.com.
