LUBBOCK, Texas - Junior Corey Henegar turned in back-to-back 71s in the final two rounds after opening with a 74 to finish among the top 20 of the Dr Pepper Intercollegiate at Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro, Texas, over the weekend. The Red Raiders didn't fair as well, finishing in a 14th-place tie with Texas-Arlington in the 18-team field.

Michigan's Michael Harris won the event by one stroke. Henegar was 10 shots off the lead. Following Minnesota at the top of the standings was Kent, Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State and Toledo, respectively. Texas Tech finished ahead of Akron, Iowa and Illinois.

David Bolen, Mark Hull and Brooks Kelly tied in the 50th spot with three-round totals of 223. Trey Pyka rounded out the scoring for Tech with an 83rd-place finish.

The Red Raiders hit the links again Fri., March 31, through Sat., April 1, at the Border Olympics in Laredo, Texas.
