LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech freshman Mark Hull posted a final round 71 to finish in fourth place at the Border Olympics hosted by Texas A&M in Laredo, Texas. The Red Raiders finished the tournament 12th overall in the 14-team field.

Sophomore transfer David Bolen finished in a tie in 26th place followed by junior Corey Henegar (t45th), freshman Trey Pyka (t72nd), Blake Smith (75th) and Brooks Kelly (84th). Rice's Drew Conrad won the event by one stroke over Baylor's Jimmy Walker. Baylor won the team title by four strokes over second-place Texas A&M.

Finishing third was Rice followed by Texas-San Antonio, Tulsa, Texas (JV), Sam Houston State, Michigan State, Washington State, Central Oklahoma, Stephen F. Austin, Texas Tech, Texas-Arlington and Texas-Pan American.

The Red Raiders tee-off again today at 8 a.m. at the 2000 Copy Systems/Toshiba Copiers Intercollegiate in Little Rock, Ark. The 54-hole event consists of 36 holes today and 18 on Tuesday.
