LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech turned in the day's second-best second round total as the team shot a 296, 17 strokes better than the day's first round score of 313. The Red Raiders currently stand in 10th place in the 15-team 2000 Copy Systems Intercollegiate in Little Rock, Ark. Tech was 12th following the first round.

Sophomore David Bolen leads the team with a two-round total of 152 and is tied in the 23rd spot. Freshman Brooks Kelly follows in 31st place by one stroke, while junior Corey Henegar is one in back of Kelly in 37th place. Freshmen Mark Hull and Trey Pyka are tied for 38th and 48th places, respectively.

Host Arkansas-Little Rock leads the event by 13 strokes over second-place Southwest Texas State. McNeese State, UALR (jv), Texas-San Antonio and Louisiana-Monroe round out the top five.

The tournament concludes Tuesday at 8 a.m. with 18 holes on tap.
