Freshman Clement Sordet was one of 16 student-athletes from the Big 12 Conference to be named to the Division I PING All-Region teams that were unveiled earlier today.

Sordet, a native of Charbonnières, France, was one of 25 student-athletes named to the Central Region team after he helped lead the Red Raiders to an 11th consecutive NCAA Regional. He led the team with a 72.9 stroke average over 66 rounds in 12 different tournaments. Over the course of the season, he posted two tournament wins, six Top 10 finishes and earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Tournament team after a 7th place finish at the Big 12 Championships.

Texas Tech ended its season in Greensboro, N.C., earlier this month at the NCAA Regional. The regional appearance was the 11th straight for the men's golf program and the team was anchored by four freshmen and one junior.
