LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Rawls Course was named as one of the top collegiate courses in the country in a recent article in Golf Digest. The piece, written by Topsy Siderowf, featured 15 of the nation's top collegiate courses and placed the home of Red Raider and Lady Raider Golf in fourth on its list.

Topping the list is Oklahoma State's Karsten Creek Course, while the Orchards Golf Course at Mount Holyoke comes in second. Coming in right ahead of The Rawls Course is the University of Michigan Golf Course. The only other Big 12 school, included in the list was Kansas State's Colbert Hills Golf Course, which ranked tenth.

Last fall, The Rawls Course was also honored by Golfweek as the number three university-owned course in the nation.
