Ewing IV finished second last week in California

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's golf team will participate in the Wolf Run Intercollegiate Tournament, hosted by Indiana, Sept. 15-16 at Wolf Creek Golf Course in Zionsville, Ind.
Fourteen teams and 11 individuals will compete in the two-day competition. Texas Tech will compete against Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio State, Butler, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Akron, IUPUI, Northern Illinois, Miami (OH), Eastern Michigan and IPFW.
The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday beginning at 8:45 a.m., and will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wolf Creek is a par-71 course located 62 miles from Bloomington.
The five-member Texas Tech team will be comprised of Finley Ewing IV, Clement Sordet, Nathan Weant, Esteban Restrepo and Henry Todd. Sophomore Matias Dominguez will also be competing in the individual category for Texas Tech.
The Red Raiders are coming off a third-place finish last weekend at the Carmel Cup in Monterey, Calif. Ewing IV led Tech with a second-place individual finish with a score of 209 in the 54-hole event. Sordet also finished well last weekend just behind Ewing IV in third place.
