LUBBOCK, Texas - -

Texas Tech men's golf finished in 6th place with three golfers in the top 25 at the Kansas State Jim Colbert Intercollegiate Tournament.

Junior David Bolen finished six strokes back in 8th place at 10-over par with rounds of 73, 78 and 75. Junior college transfer Kyle Willmann finished in a 10th place tie with two other golfers with rounds of 78,76 and 75. Mark Hull closed out the top 25 trio in 21st place with rounds of 78, 80 and 75.

Scott Bailey improved on his first two rounds of 93 and 89 with a third-round score of 84 putting him in 58th place. Mark McBride of Missouri won the tournament at 4-over par with rounds of 75, 73 and 72.

The Red Raiders will travel to Albuquerque, N.M., to compete in The "Tucker" Oct. 15-16.
