Tech Men's Golf Finishes Fourth at Coca-Cola Golf Classic
Oct. 9, 1999 LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Texas Tech men's golf team finished with an overall team score of 873, good enough for a fourth place finish at the Herb Wimberly/Coca-Cola Classic Golf Tournament at the New Mexico State University Golf Course in Las Cruces today. Freshman David Bolen led the men with a two-under par score of 214. New Mexico State won the 15-team tournament with a score of 852. They were followed by Wichita State (858), Texas El Paso (859) and Texas Tech. Corey Henegar fired a two-under par final round of 70 to finish with a score of 218 and finish in 17th place. Henegar finished two-over for the tournament. Mark Hull was the Red Raider's third best finisher, ending the three round tournament with a five-over par score of 221. TEAM SCORES 1.
