Former Texas Tech Men's Golfer Nils Florén finished tied- 11th in the second stage of the European Tour Qualifying School at the El Valle Golf Resort in Murcia, Spain.

Florén shot 70-74-66-69 to finish 5-under par and will advance to the Final Stage.

The European Qualifying School has been at the end of every season since 1976 to determine which players will gain a European Tour card for the following season.

Players have to compete in three rounds, 252 holes, at a series of venues in the UK and Continental Europe. The top 25 players, and those tied for 25th place, will earn a Category 11b Membership European Tour.

The Final Stage will take place at the PGA Catalunya Resort in Girona, Spain Nov. 24-29.
