LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team dropped to 4-7 overall and 0-1 in the Big 12 Conference after losing, 5-2, to Baylor today at the Lubbock Municipal Tennis Center. The Bears improved to 7-5 overall and 1-1 in conference.
The Red Raiders won two-of-three doubles matches to clinch the first point of the match before Doug Lacy earned Tech's only singles win at the No. 6 spot.
"I take full responsibility for the way things are," said Texas Tech head coach Tim Siegel. "I have to do a better job making sure the team is ready. We are a good team, but Baylor is a better team."
