Red Raiders and Aggies Suspend Due to Rain

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The No. 58-ranked Texas A&M men's tennis team's Big 12 Conference match with the No. 61-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders was suspended shortly after it began Friday evening due to inclement weather at the Omar Smith Tennis Courts on the A&M campus.

The match was suspended until prior to the Big 12 Championship in Austin, Texas on April 24-27 with an exact day and time to be announced.

The two teams had just began the match and were halfway through the first set when Big 12 officials and the coaches decided to suspend the match.

Scores were recorded and the match will be completed using the same lineups and the same scores at a later date.

The Red Raiders will face the Texas Longhorns Saturday at 2 p.m. in Austin.
