Men's Tennis Blanks Missouri

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team defeated Missouri Tigers, 7-0, today at the Lubbock Municipal Tennis Center. The Red Raiders improved their record to 10-11 overall and 3-4 in the Big 12 Conference. The Tigers are now 2-15 and 0-8 in the conference.

"I thought we came out and played well today, despite being tired from the grueling trip last weekend to Colorado and Nebraska," Texas Tech Director of Tennis Tim Siegel said. "Hopefully, the momentum will carry us into Sunday's match against Kansas."

The Red Raiders will next see action when they host Kansas Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lubbock Municipal Tennis Center. The match will be Tech's last match before the Big 12 Conference Championships, which will be held in Austin, from Thursday, April 24 through Sunday, April 27. Missouri travels to Colorado to face the University of Denver Friday.
