SENIOR (FALL 2015)
Posted a 4-5 singles mark and 1-4 record in doubles … opened the fall with a 1-2 showing at the Midland Invitational before going 2-2 at the Texas A&M Invitational … defeated Aggies Frankie Colunga and Kevin Lam at the event … participated in the main draw at the ITA Texas Regionals and won once to advance to the Round of 64 … in doubles, teamed with Connor Curry and won once at the Texas A&M Invitational while falling at the ITA Texas Regionals … lost all three doubles contests with Evan Nix, once at the Midland Invitational and twice at the Texas A&M Invitational.

JUNIOR (2014-15)
Played in one fall doubles match, pairing with Nick Melott and falling 7-6 to Texas A&M’s Frankie Colunga and Max Lunkin at the Racquet Club Collegiate.

SOPHOMORE (2013-14)
Went 4-3 in singles with a 1-0 mark in Big 12 play in only dual match of the year … played to a 9-8 mark in doubles, teaming with Francisco Zambon and Johann Willems … went 2-1 at the Wyndham Invitational, dropping first match and winning next two against foes from Tulane … tallied a 1-2 mark at the ITA Texas Regional … in final singles match of the year, earned the Red Raiders’ lone point against No. 7 Texas with a 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (11) victory against Clement Homs … in doubles, went 6-6 with Zambon, including a 3-4 mark from the No. 3 spot in dual matches … started the fall 3-0 at the Wyndham Invitational with Zambon … dropped both ITA Texas Regional matches with Zambon … finished with a 3-2 mark, all from the No. 2 spot, with Willems … captured first three doubles contests with Willems, against duos from Wichita State, BYU and New Mexico.

PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
Originally enrolled at UNLV in January of 2013 … went 6-6 in singles and 8-12 in doubles as a freshman at UNLV … the primary No. 6 option in singles, going 4-5 there … also went 1-0 at No. 4 and 1-1 at No. 5 … played all doubles matches at No. 3, including a 3-3 mark in Mountain West action … a four-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net, which ranked him the No. 84 overall recruit in the nation in the class of 2012 … Ranked by TennisRecruiting.net as the No. 9 prospect in the state of Texas and No. 10 in the Gulf States region … A 2012 graduate of St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Austin ... lettered four years for the Spartans, with his father as the director of tennis ... won a sectional title ... ranked among the top 100 juniors in the nation for Boys 16-and-under and 18-and-under divisions.

Born on March 19, 1994, in Lima, Peru ... the son of Carlos and Billie Di Laura ... father was a professional tennis player and rose to as high as No. 92 in the world in 1986 and also competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics for his home nation of Peru ... father also was a national champion at Pepperdine, capturing the 1985 NCAA doubles title with partner Kelly Jones ... has a younger sister, Isabella.
