SENIOR (FALL 2015)
Played to a 1-7 singles record with a 7-6 (2), 6-2 victory against Texas A&M’s Jett Cash at the Texas A&M Invitational … went 2-4 in doubles with a 2-1 mark when partnered with Jolan Cailleau, winning once at the Texas A&M Invitational and in the opening round of the ITA Texas Regionals … lost all three doubles contests with Carlos DiLaura, once at the Midland Invitational and twice at the Texas A&M Invitational.
Finished 2-8 in singles and 1-6 in doubles, all in fall action … won both singles matches against Max Montague at the Texas A&M Challenge … also took part in singles at the Racquet Club Collegiate, ITA Texas Regional Championship and UT Invitational … in doubles, paired with Hunter Holman (0-3) and Austin Buzelan (1-3) … defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Mitchell Cook and Ricardo Mayagoitia with Buzelan at the UT Invitational.
Tallied a 3-5 singles record with a 1-4 mark in doubles … all competition took place in the fall and none in spring dual matches … started the fall 0-2 in singles before playing even the rest of the campaign … in singles, took part in the Midland Racquet Club Collegiate (0-2), Wyndham Invitational (2-1) and ITA Texas Regional Championship (1-2) … earned first singles triumph of the year against Tulane’s Takuma Ohashi, 6-4, 6-3, at the Wyndham Invitational … also picked up wins against Rice’s Leif Berger and Texas-Pan American’s Joseph Bishop … in doubles, teamed with Nicholas Melott (1-2) and Jolan Cailleau (0-2) … with Melott, defeated Incarnate Word’s Tucker Brown and Josip Smolijan, 8-4.
Went 1-3 in singles and 4-3 in doubles … only spring action was two doubles matches, both victories at the No. 3 spot ... earned first career singles win against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Andrew Maingott, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1, in initial match … teamed with Raphael Pfister (2-1), Jeff Bryan (0-2), Felipe Soares (1-0) and Gabriel Wanderley (1-0) in doubles … suffered a setback in debut, with Pfister, but then won consecutive matches with Pfister at the Rice Fall Invitational … paired with Soares for an 8-1 win against Prairie View A&M in first dual match action … defeated a Lamar duo with Wanderley in only other dual match play.

Graduated from McKinney Boyd High School ... led McKinney Boyd to the Texas Class 5A semifinals this past spring and a No. 3 state ranking ... won the district singles title ... attended the Brookhaven Tennis Academy ... listed as a four-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net ... is ranked as the ninth best recruit in Texas and 87th nationally ... ranked in the Top 30 in the state since he was 14, reaching as high as No.7 in Texas in Boys 18s ... reached the semifinals of the 2012 Texas Grand Slam and won two rounds at the 2012 USTA Kalamazoo National Tennis Championships.
