No. 60 Texas Tech Topples Denver, 6-1|

DENVER, Colo. – No. 60 Texas Tech (8-4) rolled to a 6-1 win over Denver (3-7) on Friday in men’s collegiate tennis action at the Gates Tennis Center.
Senior Vitor Manzini led the charge for the Red Raiders, as he teamed with freshman Gabriel Dias at the No. 1 position to secure the doubles point with an 8-3 win over Denver’s Jens Vorkefeld and Max Krammer.
Wanderely and Zambon quickly ran the score to 3-0 for the Red Raider with straight set wins at No. 6 and No. 5 respectively.
Dias then clinched the win with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph at No. 2 over Craig, while senior Raphael Pfister added default victory over Biasion and Texas Tech suddenly led 5-0.
Manzini picked up the sixth point of the day at No. 1 with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Vorkefeld.
Denver finally got on the board after Max Kramer outlasted Soares, 6-3, 7-6 at No. 3.
Texas Tech returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. MT at the Gates Tennis Center when they face No. 61 Arizona (8-2).
