Lubbock, Texas - No. 37 Texas tech men's tennis topped No. 44 Mississippi State, 4-1, at the Blue Grey Invitational, in Montgomery, Ala., on Thursday. The Red Raiders are now sitting at 9-3 on the season.

Due to the risk of inclement weather, the match began with singles play. Adrian Prpic, playing at No. 1, Christian Rojmar, playing at No. 3, and Teddy DiBlasi, playing at No. 6, each won their respective matches. Rojmar and DiBlasi also took their matches in straight sets while Prpic was forced to three sets.
