No. 42 Texas Tech Rolls Past New Mexico State, 7-0|

LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 42 Texas Tech picked up its 12th win of the season in easy fashion, as the No. 42 Red Raiders cruised to a 7-0 win over New Mexico State on Saturday at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Red Raiders improved to 25-5 all-time against the Aggies and 17-1 against NMSU in Lubbock. Texas Tech has now won nine of its last 11 matches to improve to 12-5 on the season, while the Aggies fell to 9-5.
The Red Raiders swept the doubles play on Saturday, with Hugo Dojas and Raphael Pfister leading the charge with a 8-3 win over Germain Degardin and Yannick Blank. Felipe Soares and Jeff Bryan followed suit with an 8-5 win at No. 2 over Daniel Fernandez and Naveen Manivannan.
With the point in hand, Vitor Manzinin and Gabriel Dias made the sweep complete, as the Tech duo broke a 6-6 and then served for the match, the Red Raider tandem toppled Luis Ramirez and Marc Westgate, 8-6 at No. 1 doubles.
In singles, Dias and Dojas, quickly put the Red Raiders up 3-0 with straight-set wins. Soares clinched the match with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Degardin at No. 3.
Manzini and Pfister followed with three-set wins to run the tally to 6-0 before Zambon closed out the day with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 win over Denele at No. 5.
Texas Tech returns to action on Wednesday at 6 p.m., as the Red Raiders host Fresno State at the McLeod Tennis Center.
