FORT WORTH, Texas - Texas Tech men's doubles team of Peter Danolic and Ryan Shupe remain in the hunt for the ITA Rolex Region Six Championships being held at TCU. Friday's results included singles' losses by Tech's Danolic, Shupe, and Carey Bjorkman.

In Friday's round of 16, Peter Danolic lost to SMU's Toby Hansson, 7-6 (4), 6-4, while teammate Ryan Shupe lost a three-set match to Texas A&M's Juan Aranboro, 2-6, 7-5, 6-4. In consolation third round action, Tech's Carey Bjorkman defeated Keith Pollack of SMU, 6-4, 6-2, but lost to Lamar's Mike Ferraro in the fourth round, 6-4, 7-5.

The doubles team of Danolic and Shupe face the seventh-seed team from Baylor, Pawel Gajdzik and Joey Michalsky Saturday.||
