Cailleau Advances To Flight Finals In Austin|
Jolan Cailleau advanced to the Flight B fianls on Saturday at the UT Fall Invitational.

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Tech freshman Jolan Cailleau upset the No. 1 seed and topped his teammate to reach the finals Flight B at the UT Fall Invitational on Friday at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center.
Cailleau started the day by upsetting the Flight B’s top seeded Sudanwa Sitaram of Texas, 6-1, 6-0 in the quarterfinals, while teammate Andre Napolitano pulled his own upset by knocking off third seeded Andrew Stutz of Ball State, 6-0, 4-6, 6-4.
Cailleau and Napolitano squared off in the semifinals, with Napolitano besting Cailleau, 6-0 in the first set, but Cailleau pulled out a 7-6 win in the second frame to send it to the third. It was all Cailleau in the third, as the freshman picked up an early break and secured the 0-6, 7-6, 6-2 win to reach the finals.
Cailleau will face Texas’ Clement Homs at 11 a.m. for the Flight B title on Sunday.
In Flight A, second seeded Hugo Dojas was looking for his own ticket to the finals after outlasting Texas’ Jacoby Lewis in the quarterfinals, 2-6, 6-2, 6-0, but third seeded Adrien Berkowicz of Texas topped Dojas, 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinals.
In doubles, Dojas and Maxime Hinnisdaels picked up a pair of wins on Saturday to advance to the semifinals. The second seeded Texas Tech duo will face TCU’s Andres Alfonzo and Trey Daniel at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday for the right to play in the finals.
