PALO ALTO, Calif. - No. 29 Texas Tech will face No. 27 San Diego in the first round of the ITA Kickoff Weekend at Stanford University's Taube Family Tennis Stadium at noon CT.

Stanford is serving as one of 15 host sites around the country. The ITA Kickoff Weekend features four teams at each site vying to advance to the National Team Indoor Championships Feb. 15-18 in Seattle, Wash.

This is the second consecutive year the Red Raiders and the Toreros have met at a neutral site. Last season, Texas Tech topped San Diego, 4-3, in Tulsa, Okla.

This will be the first dual match of the season for San Diego, while Texas Tech is 3-1 already this season.

The winner of the Texas Tech-San Diego will face the winner of No. 10 Stanford and No. 26 Texas A&M on Saturday.
