Texas Tech To Face Miami, USF In Coral Gables

Maxime Hinnisdaels and the Red Raiders travel to Florida for a pair of matches.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Texas Tech men’s tennis team looks to capitalize on their recent success, as the Red Raiders head to Florida to face Miami and USF this weekend at the Neil Schiff Center Tennis Center.

The Red Raiders take on No. 60 Miami on Friday at 1 p.m. ET, followed by USF on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at the Neil Schiff Center Tennis Center.

Texas Tech (3-2) will try and carry the momentum of its win over Rice on Sunday. The Red Raiders are led by No. 65 Hugo Dojas and No. 101 Felipe Soares.

Miami (3-1) has been paced this season by Gabriel Flores and Omar Aly. Flores is 3-1 this spring, while Aly is 4-0 in singles. The Canes have secured three 7-0 victories this spring over Florida A&M, Bethune Cookman and Florida Atlantic, but fell 4-3 to Central Florida.

USF is led by Oliver Praming and Ignacio Gonzales-Muniz, who are the 16th rated doubles tandem in the nation, along with Sasha Gozun, who is ranked No. 100 in singles. The Bulls are currently 3-0 on the season with wins over Florida Gulf Coast, Florida Atlantic and North Florida.
