Texas Tech Men's Tennis defeats Colorado 4-3 February 20, 1999 BOULDER, Colo. - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (5-0,1-0) grabbed their first conference win with a victory in dual play versus Colorado on Friday night in Boulder. Petar Danolic and Jevgenij Cariov led the way for the Red Raiders, each winning their matches in straight sets. Adam Baranowski won two matches on the day, defeating Jerad Harbaugh of Colorado 60, 3-6, 6-1 in singles competition and teaming with Thomas Wheat for a win in doubles play. Number 2 seeded Ryan Shupe and fourth seeded Baranowski each slugged out crucial three set wins to key the Red Raider victory. The win moves Texas Tech to 5-0 on the year and 1-0 in Big 12 play.
