FORT WORTH, Texas - The Texas Tech men's tennis team fell to 32nd ranked TCU 6-1 today at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. It was the team's second loss on the the season. The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-2.

The match started with a hard fought battle for the doubles point. The No. 3 duo of Adam Baranowski and Petar Danolic defeated Scott Eddins and Sebastain Iannariello 8-6. However, the No. 1 team of Ryan Shupe and Dustin Hawk and the No. 2 squad of Jevgenij Cariov and Borut Marintcevic both dropped closes matches to lose the point. Their scores were 9-7 and 8-7 respectively.

Hawk was the lone singles winner for the men's team at the No. 6 position. He defeated Justin Gagnon by the score of 6-2, 6-4. Baranowski playing at No. 4 singles dropped his first match of the season by losing to Edins 6-2, 6-2.

Texas Tech will look to rebound tomorrow when they face the University of Texas-Arlington at 1:30 p.m. at Arlington.
