Lubbock, Texas - No. 45 Texas Tech men's tennis will be competing in the HEB Invitational, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Thurs, March 2 through Sat., March 4. They will face the winner of No. 59 Western Michigan and No. 74 UNLV at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

The Red Raiders are currently sitting at 5-2 on the early 2006 season and at No. 45 in the current ITA poll. Individually, Michael Breler has posted a 6-0 record, playing at No. 3 and No. 4, and Christian Rojmar, playing at No. 2 and No. 3, has won six of his seven contests. At No. 1 doubles, Adrian Prpic and Rojmar are 4-1.

The No. 59 Western Michigan Broncos have opened 2006 with a 12-1 record and are currently riding a 10-match win streak. This is the first match-up between the Red Raiders and the Broncos.

The No. 74 Rebels of UNLV are sitting at 6-2 on the season. A Rebel victory over Western Michigan would lead to the first match-up between UNLV and Tech.
